Privacy Policy

TixPass Inc. (the "Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws, and establishes the following policy to protect users' personal information. The Korean version prevails in case of any discrepancy.
1. Personal Information Collected and Methods
Items collected
- Required: name, mobile phone number, email address
- At payment: payment information (e.g., credit card — processed via payment gateway)
- Automatically generated during use: access IP, device/browser information, service usage records
Collection methods
Entered directly by users during ticket purchase/booking/pre-registration/inquiry, or generated and collected automatically during use of the Service.
2. Purpose of Processing
- Ticket sales/booking, identity verification, payment, and settlement
- Sending transaction-related notices (booking details, tickets, refunds) via email, alimtalk, etc.
- Responding to customer inquiries and handling complaints
- Service operation, improvement, and statistical analysis
3. Retention and Use Period
The Company retains personal information until the purpose is achieved or the retention period expires. However, the following are retained for set periods under applicable laws.
- Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years
- Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years
- Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Company does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to external parties. However, the minimum information necessary for entry/booking confirmation may be provided to the relevant Organizer for event operations, or where required by law or with the user's consent.
5. Entrustment of Processing and Overseas Transfer
The Company entrusts the processing of personal information as follows for smooth provision of the Service.
- Toss Payments Inc. — payment processing (Korea)
- Infobank Corp. (BizM) — alimtalk notifications (Korea)
- Resend, Inc. — email delivery (USA)
- Supabase, Inc. — data storage and infrastructure (overseas)
- Vercel, Inc. — service hosting (USA)
Personal information may be transferred to entrustees located overseas within the scope necessary to provide the Service. The transferred items are the same as the collected items above; the time of transfer is when the Service is used, and the method is transmission over the network.
6. Rights of Data Subjects
Users may at any time request access to, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information by contacting the Privacy Officer below in writing or by email. The Company will take necessary action without delay.
7. Destruction of Personal Information
The Company destroys personal information without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose is achieved. Electronic files are deleted irrecoverably, and printed materials are shredded or incinerated.
8. Security Measures
The Company implements administrative and technical safeguards including access-rights management, access control, transmission encryption (SSL), and retention of processing logs.
9. Cookies and Automatic Collection
The Company may use cookies to provide the Service. Users may refuse cookie storage through browser settings, though some Service features may then be limited.

12. Effective Date
This Privacy Policy takes effect on May 23, 2026.
